Young people learn why they do the things they do and how to positively navigate their relationships and interactions with adults in order to get their developmental needs met.

Youth Developmental Needs: Understanding Self is a two-hour workshop where participants learn why they do everything they do and that sometimes they do all the wrong things for all the right reasons! Why do youth have a culture and a system of values different from adults? The learning activities focus on mastering emotions/social-emotional-learning.

Understanding Adultism is a two-hour workshop where participants learn about adultism which refers to behaviors and attitudes based on the assumption that adults are better than young people, and entitled to act upon young people without their agreement. This workshop addresses the societal acceptance and implications of the mistreatment of young people simply because they are young. Participants will learn the framework for understanding adultism and the alternative caring behaviors.

Youth Power and Leadership is a two-hour practicum workshop where participants learn how to use their innate power and leadership abilities to create their reality here and now.
